Duet (2010 - )

a choreographic score to be performed 100 times

duet is a choreographic score that I created and began performing in New York City in 2010. It is performed with a wall and one other performer who also identifies as queer. Each performance is documented with a number that corresponds to the cumulative minutes of each performance. For example, duet 37 was performed for 37 minutes while duet 8 was performed for 8 minutes. Each duet performer selects the duration of our performance without knowing what other duet time signatures have already been performed. duet will be completed when performances 1-100 have been realized (amounting to more than 100 total performances).
